The Kia Metropol Arena, operated by the city of Nuremberg and inaugurated in August 2021 after only 14 months of construction, is one of the most modern sports halls in Germany. It offers space for up to 4,000 spectators and is suitable for ball sports such as basketball, handball, indoor hockey, volleyball or futsal, as well as for other sports such as wrestling or rhythmic gymnastics. But not only professional and popular sports, but also culture and society find their place through concerts, galas and show events on the 25,000 m² site in the southwest of Nuremberg.
